Research Goal

To gain deeper insights into the behavior, needs, and difficulties faced by car owners in managing their expenses and important dates. This research includes both competitive analysis and user interviews.

There's a market gap for an app combining all these features into one user-friendly platform for a seamless experience.

UI & BRANDING

Car Buddy uses aqua blue and black in its branding to show trust, modernity, professionalism, and user-friendliness.

EARLY USER TESTING

I tested early with basic designs to save time on potentially inadequate designs.

Users completed tasks smoothly. Some are interested in multi-car management and weather info. Many suggested making the 'Add expense' button more accessible. Overall, the app's functionality and features received positive feedback, with minor suggestions for improvement.

FIRST ITERATION

1. Multi Car Management: Users can now manage multiple cars by simply clicking on 'Add a Car'.

2. Weather Info: Users can get weather updates for the trips, making planning easier.

3. Adding Expenses Made Easy: Now, user can quickly add expenses with the new button in the navigation bar.

This improvement, inspired by user feedback, ensures a smoother journey with Car buddy!

HI-FI WIREFRAMES USER TESTING

All users completed tasks smoothly. Half were interested in filtering gas station facilities. Most suggested adding a navigation feature for direct access to chosen stations, enhancing user experience.
